Cruxifusion.com is running on Discourse - rather popular open-source forum software. It is feature-rich on its own, but there are numerous addons. One that caught my eye is Frotz:
Frotz allows users to play 80s era text based games like Zork and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (clearly what attracted me to it) in the forum setting. So, it’s a total time-waster, but it could be entertaining.
LOL. I remember playing HHGG on my C64 back in the day. Never got into the Zork series much. Could be fun for nostalgia’s sake but I’m not much of a gamer. They are a bit of a distraction. Then again, so are forums and other social sites.
I think there are dozens or hundreds of text-based games that can be installed. Again, I worry about breaking the site, so I might hold off unless someone requests it.
